Benchmarking meetings, Focus Groups and Regional roundtables

A member can call a meeting to work on an issue whenever needed. The meetings are usually hosted in-company by the member concerned and involve little cost. These are not seminars or presentations, but roundtables of 10 to 30 people, with a tightly focussed agenda.

EHRF provides an experienced facilitator for every meeting together with help with design and organisation. The value of the meetings is assured because all involved are experienced HR practitioners with a specific responsibility for the matters under discussion, working on real issues. The majority of participants are always corporate, from a variety of industries and countries. The language of the meetings is English.

An initial roundtable meeting can lead to a Focus Group series of meetings to work in depth on an issue or topic.

Regional roundtables are held occasionally to help members build their local contacts and identify common issues to take forward with the membership as a whole.

Seminars, co-sponsored Conferences

EHRF partners with others for conferences and seminars, some of which have become annual events such as the International Seminar with Entreprise et Personnel and the Human Resource Planning Society’s Annual Conference.

Study groups and Workshops

The Focus Group process can extend to members organising their own studies and workshops tailored specifically to their requirements, sharing costs etc.

Strategic Retreat - The EHRF Lugano Forum

A senior level two-day retreat on strategic HR issues, The Lugano Forum has become an annual event and provides a rare opportunity for experienced practitioners from Europe, North America and beyond, to step back to address the major issues on the horizon and the implications for HR. Further such meetings are in the pipeline aimed at members with corporate board level responsibilities.
